Facebook friends are not friends. You may be talking to someone online. For a long time. But if you are not building close relationships. Then you are not growing.

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”
– C.S. Lewis

Building a close relationship takes time. And in this time of instant gratification mindset. People hate having to talk to someone in person. I have seen people talking to like 6–7 people at the same time. 2 on WhatsApp, 3 on Instagram, 4 on Facebook chat. They are multitasking talking online.
Now tell me how do you make a close relationship? This is not the way for sure.

“A single rose can be my garden… a single friend, my world.”
– Leo Buscaglia

We make relationships by going to the person, listening to their problems, having the patience to hear your story and know if they are interested in yours. If yes, then it will quickly become a connection from both sides.
Using the phone and the only phone is not a way of making a deep connection.

Remember: Get away from Facebook and get to face-to-face.

Thank you.
